There are usually very expensive… so does anyone know a good and affordable Teppanyaki restaurant in Taipei?
What price do you consider expensive for teppanyaki? I don’t live in Taipei but usually pay at least $NT250 for a meal which for foreign food in a restaurant isn’t too bad. I usually make three selections.
The Japanese Teppanyaki I am talking about are not the “Taiwanese Teppanyaki” found in every night market. The setting is usually very elegant, the quality good and hence the high price. And I can tell you the taste is totally different… I’ve been to 2 in the last 6 months are it cost me around 3000-3500 NT$ per person for a lunch meal (so I let you guess the price for a dinner). So that is expensive for me. If I can get one for 2000NT$, I will consider it cheap.
