Good Gym Recommendation

Hi everyone,

So it’s about time to get my flabby arse to the gym and I’m looking for good recommendations on which one to go to. I’m looking to do build up, so weights, and do some basic cardio work out too, probably running machines are good enough. Most importantly, I want to find one with a good personal trainer to hire once a week for an hour (or less/more) session to work out a routine and maintain it for the next year. Has anyone done anything similar, if so, which ones worked well for you?

Ciao

Question, why do people need personal trainers? Do you feel benefit?

Surely working out is just picking things up and putting them down and a bit of cardio.

If you’re serious about it, and I mean genuinely committed, go to Formosa Fitness. formosafitness.com/

If not, go to a chain.

I go to formosa fitness. If you are serious about training this is defiantly the place to go.

The people who need personal trainers are usually the ones who have never set foot in a gym in their lives. They don’t know how to operate the equipment. They don’t know what exercises to do to train which muscles. One would be wise to get a personal trainer or someone who knows what theyre doing to teach them. Maybe some people need the motivation. Some people need someone telling them what to do and how many reps they need to do.

Hi there,

Thanks for all the great replies. I’m actually in Taichung but I’ll keep Formosa Fitness in mind should I make it to Taipei.
Any recommendations for Taichung?
