Some of you know that I used to post under the name Bu Lai En, then when I got married, I quit Forumosa (then Oriented) vowing never to return. However I thought it useful to post my experiences of the legal aspects of getting married. So I reincarnated as Sir Donald Bradman on what was then Segue, but only to occassionally post useful information on a few topics. :? Well that worked. So a year has gone by, I regret changing my ID and want to go back to being Boddhisatva Bu Lai En. Sir Donald Bradman has had a good innings (as they say) but itās time to lay down the bat and retire. Bu is back.
Any PMs for me (or Guanxi transfers of course ) should go to Bu Lai En.
I am a newbie here. Could someone explain this all to me?
And why has everyone been ragging on that formosa guy all the time? it looks like he is a dumb yet harmless prankster who doesnāt know which way the wind is blowing, and most of his posts that I quickly skimmed, seemed over top, as if his elevator doesnāt go all the way to the top, as we say back in Miami, but he was funny most of the time.
He seems to have been quiet this weekend again. Maybe he canāt take the heat. Itās like my old man used to say, if you canāt take the heat, get out of the kitchen. Or was that Forrest Gump?

Most famous for being conviced weāre all going to die from SARS (sorry, formy)

If formosa is truly an endearing schnook then he is okay in my book. But he does seem to get on a lot of peopleās nerves here. For someone who says they donāt know Chinese, why did you use Wade-Giles to misspell guanxi as ākwansheeā when at the top of every page of this site it is spelled GUANXI.
It cost G$1000 to change a name. As you probably know, you get guanxi by making posts. G$1 for a reply and G$2 for starting a new thread. Formosa drives everybody crazy by going occasionally going on an extended spree of starting a bunch of meaningless new posts day after day. DO NOT DO THAT! I think winter is formosa. The writing style is similar, the profile is a joke and the poster display way too much knowledge about life here for someone who keeps saying over and over that he is a newbie to Taiwan.

No, I took some words off a post that had proven offensive to some people, not the language, just the entire subject and post, they almost choked reading it, so in order to make life easier and more convenient for them, I removed most of the entire post from the original post, so they could breathe easier. The result is that I was put in the NO PLAY ROOM for two days and I still canāt log on.
I deserved it. What I did was a NON NO and I hope others learn from my example. I for one have learned my lesson, in an endearing way.
When I do return, if ever, I shall return as myself, and i swear on a Swear brassiere or soutiens gorge as they say in my home country of Dade-Montreal, to be nice again and forever. I can do it. I will pre-read everything i paste in order to make sure it fits the rules and regs.
