Today I went to some traditional market to get some green onion and they told me they either dont have it or I have to pay over 200NT (and thats their cost) for it… what gives?? was it that typhoon that whiped out all the green onions or what? and why isnt any other veggies affected?

Prices go up after heavy rains; it’s good to buy a whole bunch and chop and freeze them just before the Plum Rains and typhoon season while they’re cheap. Having them pre-chopped and frozen is convenient, too!
