If Rudy makes a serious play for the Presidency in '08, the Republican leadership is gonna be twisting in the wind…
What the hell are they gonna do with a pro-choice, gay rights supporting, gun control advocating candidate? The radical, horribly misguided religious right will run away faster than a congressional page in Mark Foley’s office.
Without the support of the religious cuckoo’s, the GOP stands little chance for victory.
This is the very reason I am going to be looking seriously into ways I can help Rudy make his run…lol.

Well, if he were to win the primaries, then it would be a choice between him and someone more liberal, no? SO the thinking radical, horribly misguided religious right (oops, no such animal) would have to vote for him, right?
BTW, I (a fairly liberal voter) would actually consider Giuliani or McCain when voting – unlike most (ok, virtually all) Republican candidates. So nominating these types might be the smart move for Republicans. I’m going to be placing a lot of emphasis on fiscal responsibility, btw. I’m pleased to see some of our fellow posters from the other side of the aisle mentioning this too, in the wake of the recent elections.
The winner will be whoever backs both candidates. They win every election.
Anyone candidate who thinks they can change things just has to look up what happened to a man called Kennedy - the last real president.
yada yada yada…paranoia about the religious right…yada yada yada…conspiracy theory…
I probably would fit as a member of the so-called religious right and I would be perfectly happy seeing Guliani take the nomination – if he can show some signs of competence in foreign policy.
You’re still in New York waiting for the Titanic to come in.
No-one is allowed to mess around with US business interests.
If he makes president it’s because he has accepted orders and is doing what he is told, otherwise he’ll be removed.
