I personally think we should Anschluss the Alpha Centaurians. They’re over there, with all that money, acting like they’re better than us, and thinking they’re safe because they’re so far away.
Obviously a trump issue. How many Gulfs are there in America? That’s nearly the north to south pole… I know his ego is world record breaking, but even that…yikes worthy for yanks to remember their country is the United States OF.
People worry about what he says actually happening. Maybe he’s just doing normal shit, like exaggerating 5000% only to accept settling on 200%. Pretty standard in business. Meanwhile, we should probably be thinking about 50% and meeting somewhere in the middle.
Why stop at just “Gulf of America”? Let’s spice it up—Gulf of America 1, 2, 3, or go by region: Gulf of America North, East, and South.
Exactly—Trump throws out something outrageous, and the bait gets swallowed whole every time.
Those of us on our side? We’ve known all along—it’s a wind-up, and watching people take it seriously is half the fun. Meanwhile, Trump’s probably sitting back with a Coke laughing his ass off reading the outrage on the internet.
I mean, it’s not even 4d. It’s elementary. I give him less credit for being amazing and more credit for the masses dumbing down. Trump isn’t exactly special outside of having literally zero shame and probably next to zero ethics. The rest is on us…society.
Pretty narrow minded approach to be honest. I get where it’s coming from and how easy it is to say. Truly. That political party is true trash. but it’s just not so. We all have responsibility. As individuals. Never political affiliation. Or gender, skin tone, age etc for that matter. It would be best if people grew the fuck, moved on and had some fucking skin in the game. To blame the democrats for everything is to basically become the person your blaming and taking no responsibility. It’s a fantastically humorous example of irony.
I get your point, and I respect the idea. But here’s the thing: the Democrats haven’t taken any sense of responsibility and weaponized it into a blame game where they divide people by race, gender, class, or whatever else suits their agenda. They’ve made politics a toxic mess by playing identity politics at every turn, alienating huge swaths of the country while proclaiming they hold the moral high ground.
As an outsider looking in… They ignored the real issues Americans care about—like jobs, healthcare, and the economy—because they were too busy pandering to their woke base.
They’ve weaponized the justice system (just to hurt their opponents campaign), turned Big Tech into their personal censors (censuring things that might hurt their campaign), and made the border crisis worse while lecturing everyone about “compassion.” And don’t get me started on how their botched foreign policy embarrassed the country on the global stage.
What tops it off most is that Biden decides to pardon his criminal son - whose crimes were truly serious (videos of illicit activities with underage girls, drugs, weapon charges etc… and dodgy business collusion involving Biden himself… Biden claimed his son was politically persecuted…. So what does that make Trump?
I dont disagree with that. As a liberal leaning person I can easily say I am fully not on board with the Democrat party of the US. That’s pretty easy to say as they aren’t liberal. Same with the Republicans, crazy in a different manner… Seems silly to align 100% as if it were a gang/religion, regardless of those 2 parties
Therein lies the issue I think. “The democrats” (or “the republicans” or the whatevers) are still human beings, living in that culture. And quite a large chunk, like it or not, follow them. People need to start taking some personal responsibility instead of blaming their gang/religion when things look bad. Need to nut up and be an adult when things go downhill. This might also include rethinking opinions and admitting being wrong from time to time. This is something that seems to be happening less in the US (and many many other places). That is to say, people seem to be becoming less mature, more emotional and extreme…less pragmatic. Something the trump camp certainly isn’t helping either.
First principles, later everyone can discuss which pimple (politician) to pop
In every situation no matter what there is no responsibility on GOP side. I am sure somehow, someway if the constant rantings of various ideas from Trump starts to cause tangible problems…the problems will be blamed on Democrats.
Don’t blame the guy pointing at the flames of the house they lit on fire.
The democrats had their chance and doubled down on bad ideas. I even heard of Kamala wanting to fund sex changes for prisoners… meanwhile everyday Americans can’t take an ambulance to the hospital without being nearly bankrupted.
Oh yes. Not one fire is the GOP or far right’s fault. Now for four years let’s see what Trump does for all of the problems…like getting an affordable ambulance to the hospital.
Oh, so Trump did nothing about healthcare costs? Wrong. He forced hospitals to disclose prices upfront so patients could avoid surprise bills, capped insulin prices for seniors on Medicare, allowed cheaper drug imports from Canada, and got rid of the Obamacare individual mandate penalty, saving Americans from paying fines for unaffordable insurance. Meanwhile, Democrats are busy prioritizing funding sex changes for prisoners while everyday Americans suffer.
