My family may have an opportunity to relocate to Taiwan.
One of our daughters is a competitive gymnast. In the US, there are different organizations like the USAIGC and USAG. Gyms are affiliated with one of the organizations and then have local competitions that then roll up to state, regional, and national competitions (dependent on the gym and which level of competition they support).
I have not been able to find much about the competitive gymnastics scene in Taiwan. I’ve searched for gymnastics academies on Google Maps, but the results seem to target either young kids or more like recreational gymnastics for adults.
Now, my daughter isn’t national athlete level of competition, but she has won the top place in her age and division at both the state and regional level and we’d like for her to be able to continue to compete in gymnastics if possible as it feels like it is a strong part of her identity.
Any insight into the competitive gymnastics scene in TW would be much appreciated!
