Yes, I know. Color me geek, but nametageless happy hours make me feel I’m in a bar with a bunch of people I don’t know.
The HH at the Tavern a while back was my first, and nametags helped me get to who I wanted to get to (BTW Loretta still owes me a beer!)
At the HH at The Shannon, anyone I didn’t already know was just a blue dot.

This is a first. I don’t anyone has ever described me as cute before, especially when they haven’t seen my Hello Kitty bedroon slippers. I kind of like it.

I was going to bring some to the last one I went to, but forgot to stop by the store. I’ll pick some up if no one else volunteers. They of course wouldnt’ be manditory, but I’m sure some would like having them (I too thought they worked out very nicely at the Tavern).

I do now. But I usually leave my cape and blaster at home.
I found that when we wore them at the Tavern HH it worked quite well. “Hey Bob is here!” someone sad. And Tigerman went off to meet him.
Better than someone walking by, “Who’s that?” “Dunno.” “Whatever.”
I’d rather have the chance to meet people I know online but have never met, like Tpebob, Mother Theresa, and Namahottie, as well as, totally new people that I’ve never met.
