NeverEverNoSanity, a new worm that exploits the security hole present in PHP versions prior to 5.0.3 (for the 5.x series) and 4.3.10 (for the 4.x series). Don’t know if it’s a risk to Forumosa, but thought it’d be worth the heads up considering the effects:
Not sure if this is a virus but every time I post a message today, a gray box appears on Forumosa asking for the network password. It says forum.zogue.net

Me too. And only when using Firefox.
same same here…using firefox and it is very slow since this has appeared.
I reported it to Maoman this a.m. He is working on it, I guess.
I get it in IE, but only when opening this thread.

I get it when I openb any new threads. I’m using IE. Nice to know it ain’t just me. Thought I been brousing a little too liberally again
I’m getting the prompt also.
Most likely a typo; GoDaddy’s whois says:
WHOIS Search Results for: ZOGUE.NET
Enter another domain to check.
This domain is currently unregistered.
Click here to register “zogue.net” NOW!!

Chewy - your avatar is an image from forum.zoque.net:
forum.zoque.net/customavatars/avatar3881_0.gif
which, it seems, is password protected. So whenever anyone loads a page with your avatar, they get this request. Changing your avatar will presumably solve the problem.
Aha, so the culprit is caught
Wondered why i was only getting it some of the time.
Definitely Chewy’s avatar. I cancelled the prompt and the only thing affected was that.
Damn I love that avatar. Do I have to get rid of it?
It sounds more like a bug than a virus. It only happened to me once.
Sorry about that. They must have recently done this. Never seen it before today
Save it to your computer and upload it to http://www.imageshack.us and link from there.
Thanks
Chewycorns,
You caused me to call IBM and we were on the phone for half an hour!
Grrr!
Best wishes,
