Anyone know where a person can beat on a heavy bag? In Taipei. Just looking for access to a bag not a membership to an over-priced gym. Thanks John
I would guess that you are going to have to join one of the martial arts schools in town. Also too I have heard there is a western boxing gym on Min Sheng Road (run by a Taiwanese coach). They are supposed to have a good selection of training gear, that is fairly new and in fairly good shape. But—I have never been there and do not know the exact address or their monthy rates. You might want to ask over in the “sports” part of the forum.

I bought a bag in a sports shop, “Alex”-brand, not too heavy but re-fillable so you could exchange the filling with something of your liking re. weight & hardness. Cost about 4k NT$, should pay off quickly compared to a gym membership, maybe the best solution if you have a place to hang it …
