Hi, good day. I recently buy a T-STAR VIBO ONE SIM CARD. Unfortunately, it has no signal on my cellphone. I also tried it on other phones but still no signal. Hope somebody knows how activate it or it work? Thanks in advance.
I had that problem before too, my smartphone would run with TStars SIM but when I put it in a old phone of mine, it didn’t work. I found out Tstar uses a strange band that many phones are not compatible with (wCDMA?) and so if you have an older or cheaper phone, it wont work. Pop it in a smartphone and it will.
It could also be that they missed activating it, in which case you can go to the store and ask.
However if it is the frequency that is the issue, you will be better off picking up a SIM at one of the Big 3 in Taiwan, where it will be compatible with nearly all phones.
