HEPA filters

I’ve been diagnosed with a touch of asthma.

Was wondering if anyone had experience buying filter machines for home/office use?

Kenneth

We’ve got one at home and I think that it is useful. It certainly collects a lot of gunk on the filter, and it seems that we have less asthma symptoms when we use it. You need to be careful about which HEPA filter you get though. You need a decent brand (Honeywell or a Japanese brand), you need a prefilter (active carbon), a post-filter is also good. Make sure also that the replacement filters are going to be available. Don’t buy one secondhand. Ours is a Honeywell and was expensive (17 000 with filters).
