Hey Hey Hey Ho, The NRA has Got to GO!

Good luck with that. The NY style…don’t fix anything…just make more trouble for others.

The only thing that can destroy the NRA is the NRA.

And yes, that could happen.

I’d miss their training courses. Their political advocacy is redundant. Gun control is finished, and the NRA didn’t do that.

They seem to have the receipts for NRA fraud and the NRA is registered in NY. So think again Rowland.

The suit alleges that top NRA executives misused charitable funds for personal gain, awarded contracts to friends and family members, and provided contracts to former employees to ensure loyalty.

This could unfold like that impeachment theater last winter.

(All that’s alleged against the NRA is what goes on in all nonprofits.)

Not exactly quaking in their boots.

Certainly any future gun control laws cannot come from the Democrats. Not after the events of this summer (cops are obviously outmanned in some Democrat cities, you’re on your own there). Would be laughable.

If gun control is your #1 issue, you need to slide over to the GOP and begin your efforts there.

Trump calls lawsuit against NRA “a terrible thing”.

And if anybody knows about running a fake charity in New York to scam funds into his own pocket, it’s Donald Trump.

On June 14, 2018, New York attorney general Barbara Underwood filed a civil suit against the foundation, Trump himself, and Trump’s adult children—Ivanka, Eric and Donald Jr.—alleging “a shocking pattern of illegality” with respect to the foundation’s money.[9][10][11] On December 18, 2018, Underwood announced that the foundation had agreed to shut down under court supervision and distribute its remaining assets to court-approved charities, although she did not end investigations of the foundation and its directors.[12] In November 2019, Trump was ordered to pay a $2 million settlement for misusing the foundation for his business and political purposes.

All charities are fake.

The whole welfare state is a fake charity.

Who cares what Trump thinks about everything?

Why is it people take an issue and immediately wonder what does Trump the Orangemoron think about it?

The lawsuit against the NRA is going to be problematic. The NYDA says they are a nonprofit. My friend who runs a lobbyist group…a big one, said, oh yeah, then why are they lobbying? Nonprofits can’t do that. :idunno:

Somebody should tell them.

I don’t know- ask Trump why he has to butt in in a lawsuit against a nonprofit. Oh yeah, they gave him $30 million in 2016- that might be it.

So… you blame reciprocity and gratitude?

Do the leftists that have guns and you sometimes see holding them during ‘protests’ support giving their guns up?

Some do, some don’t. Some will surrender their guns if right-wingers will.
Lots of lefties think they need guns as a defence. Hell, in Canada most of the time I owned a rifle; nearly all the time I lived in the bush. Gave it up once I stopped hunting and moved to town.

I think we should back up and ask instead, “Do the leftists that have guns … during protests support the rule of law?”

Because I’m pretty sure that’s closer to their root problem. In general I think they support their having guns, legal or not, and oppose anybody else having them because it makes them easier to murder.

“The suit alleges that top NRA executives misused charitable funds for personal gain, awarded contracts to friends and family members, and provided contracts to former employees to ensure loyalty.”

That’s playing high stakes poker, all members have guns and rifles.

Or it could be that he talks endlessly about anything reporters ask him. Some dude got shot outside the WH the other days during a Trump presser. They immediately asked Trump what was on the guy’s mind?

The NRA gave Trump $30 million? That seems unlikely given the rules and such.

In 2016, the NRA spent more than $30 million on behalf of the Trump campaign, according to Federal Election Commission data.

That’s according to those commie Marxists at Fortune magazine.

What is this all about? Are we talking down or past one another again?

the NRA spent more than $30 million on behalf of the Trump campaign,

Spent and gave are two very different words. One should not conflate them.

The wealthy often spend lots of money on politics. SO what?

Woke is peaking, but gun grabbing is in rapid decline. The NRA’s advocacy is no longer needed. Their training classes will be put to the test.

The newly armed lefties will give up their guns when they realize the other side fights better than they do. They’ll throw down their guns and run.

Sorry. The NRA spent $30 million on Trump’s campaign, not gave to Trump personally. In return they got support for their policies. It’s like an ATM. You give a politician money, they give you laws.
It’s separate from the fact that the NRA is run by a bunch of thieves. That’s what Oliver North tells me, anyway.
