I live in the Ping Dong area and I see those Power Lines head up over the mountains seemingly where no road has been laid. In the states, every where I’ve lived there is at least a walking path or a dirt road known as a “fire break” following the path of most power lines.
How did they the material used to build these massive tower up there. Did they fly everything including the work crews in by helicopter?
As I see the lines fade into the distance, I can swear I don’t see any road or path. It’s as if they were built by aliens. How they built the grid must make for an exciting story in my opinion.
Taipower workers are hard core.
Besides repairing lines in the middle of nowhere in the central mountains, they are also trapeze artists.
