Hike - Mar 11: Cherry Tree Valley Shenkeng

Alishan to see the blossoms? Consider this: the county govt. is urging people to leave their cars and use public transport. They’re estimating up to 5,000 cars per day at the height of the season. They have around 700 parking spaces, including roadside parking.
Sounds absolutely wonderful.

:astonished:

sounds like another “lantern festival” sized crowd. thanks for the warning.

'Course, you could always go around the back side of Alishan. There’s still plenty of colour and you could drop by Sat. TV’s place for a barbeque. He loves it when tourists do that.
