Hindu nationalists "correct" Tsai on Twitter: Taj Mahal isn't "ours"

Ah, those charming Hindu nationalists who disavow the Muslims in their midst.

Instead of “correcting” Tsai on twitter, they might try to better deal with the COVID crisis overrunning their country (and not, as their current leader put it, consider Muslims “the real virus”).

Could be worse, they could take the Burn Loot Murder approach and try and tear it down.

That would be an awful thing to do to such a kind tolerant religion as Islam

I would prefer we not deal with Hindu nationalists, but the reality is, if we’re forming a new NATO, that who we’re working with.

You do notice that the “evil” Muslims didn’t burn and loot the Maharashtra temple when they owned the whole place right? Mughals were very tolerant of other cultures and religions.

No bat soup on that visit, at least. That we know of :smirk:

Pity she didn’t Photoshop in a picture of her eating beef noodle soup at the Taj. Go full-on intentional faux pas😆

She should have had a bacon sandwich with heinz ketchup washed down with a beer, to demonstrate just how tolerant the locals can be.

Sorry, I’m not up to speed on Indian affairs. Is this “Telugu_wala” actually somebody or just a random twitter user?

Probably random user. But there are many more in the thread.

This is starting to look like former Japanese Prime Minister Abe sprinting to the US to meet—and please—Trump.

If so, good job President Tsai! : D
