Does anybody here have experience hiring a Taiwan Freelancer?
I’m looking to hire someone who has a background in graphic design, flier design and illustrations. They need to know Photoshop and Illustrator. Dreamweaver and any other Adobe products is a bonus.
I was thinking about posting an ad on Taipei Craigslist, 104.com.tw, and freelancer sites suck as odesk.com and getafreelancer.com.

Taiwanted and Forumosa are the best choice to hire someone who speaks English.
If you don’t speak Chinese, you better find one who speaks English communication is a fundamental factor between the employer and designer.
Also check for someone who has a portfolio and website. Any good designer should have one.
Hiring someone who use Dreamweaver (and do web design) is another story, you have to find someone who has good coding practices.

Looks like Kijiji has closed shop. Any idea about the story or where all its old users in TW went?
104 is good enough for looking design-related freelancer. It’s a very competitive market for this field, I usually got more than 100 quotation from 104 and spent a lot of times to check their portfolio to see if candidate meets our required style.
