Yes, it is possible, the rules were changed here last year, however it is a pain to get all the documentation done, and takes a little time. Are you sure you even qualify for a domestic helper, there are rules governing this.

And if you do go through a broker (it might be easier), yes it’s possible to request a specific person. Be sure you go through a reputable broker. Some of them are really bad.

Okay, well maybe I’m being too generous. I only know what I’m told by Filipinos I know. But CLA would definitely be the least expensive way to go for everyone.
