Hottest Asian Celebs?

Looks like Christy Zhong to me. Model/Actress

Yup. That’s why I mentioned the movie Jan Dara. An Internet search will probably turn up more revealing photos than seen in the MRT.

Actually, I guess she goes by Christy Chung in English.

I see. She is an actress and stared in that movie called Jan Dara, 3/4 of it naked as I understood.

Now where can I get a copy of that DVD … ?

Did you mean “starred” or “stared at”?

Both.

Yum… where can I get me some apples/girls on and under apples?

My wife glares at me when that add comes on T.V and it gets my attention. “I was just checking if they were NZ apples, really - I was”

Let me know if you find a copy, Rascal. I’d like to buy one too.

Cranky, I assume you must have seen the film – so was it any good (apart from the feast of Christy’s flesh)? I just glanced at a couple of reviews on the Net, and it seems to have got a mixed reception, though it did manage to get shown at some film festivals and thus gain at least a minimum aura of artistic respectability.

I note that Christy was born in Canada, is now in her early 30s, and was voted as “the Sexiest Woman in Asia 2000” by Singapore’s For Him Magazine.

But the burning question is: Will there be more to Apple Daily than just its association with Christy Chung?

Christy Chung also has a hard cover photo spread book out. I don’t think it sold well or they over produced because you can get copies at the $69 bookstores franchises in Taipei.

omni…they aint gonna have editorials, omni. just pics and headlines. stories. color. local color. eye candy. no deep thunks

i thought those apple ads on TV were for imported apples from Washington State or NZ. And for the life of me, I couldnt figure out why the naked girl was in the ad. I still can’t figure that one out, altho now the gf has told me it is an advert for APPLE DAILY.

Does this name imply an apple a day will keep the doctor away?

Or is it a symbol of Eve in the Gardo de Evil…?

What’s it called in CHinoise? PINGO YO BAO? PINGO HER BAO?

Christy, or Zhong Liti, is 33 years old.
How did they select her? I bet she is making a packet from this.

a packet? US$25,000 with 10% to her agent. Not a bad shoot at that. And a great boost to her career.

You know that because you are her agent, I presume… :sunglasses:

i wish!

I would say because of her looks, stardoom and partially I guess because she is from HK (where Apple Daily comes from, too).
Perhaps she was one of the few (famous) willing to be shot somewhat nude …

I thought it was an advert for apples too. Eat more apples, see a naked lady…

Isn’t she from Toronto? Also, I think she’s half-Vietnamese, or her family is Vietnamese Chinese.

Christy Chung is hard not to notice. She’s based in Singapore now and her career got a boost after Marie Claire got her back in shape after she gave birth. That Thai movie art film (Jan Dara) also got drew a lot of attention for her.

My girlfriend was surprised I recognized he when the TV ad started running – but like I said, in Singapore, it’s hard not to notice her.

I could tell you the story of how I met her on a flight to London and we ended up having sweaty, noisy sex in the aircraft toilet. But it would be a lie.

Is the core as hard as the cover?
