Hi. Im planning on visiting Taiwan soon and would like the opportunity to stay if all goes well. I am a UK resident and would like to know which visa is extendible and how to apply for it. I have found many contradictory websites, applications and forum threads and my brain is mush. Is there a genuine online application or would it be better to go to the Taiwan Rep. office? I am based in London so this wouldn’t be a problem. Many Thanks.
The opportunity to stay legally would be dependent on getting a job or applying to a school. If you don’t have either of those setup then you are probably not going to get an extendable visa. Your best option is to use the 90 day visa exempt entry and fly in and out every 90 days.
