How do i get to Taoyuan Railway Station from Taoyuan airport?

Hi,

I’m from Singapore and will be touring Taiwan in March and traveling in a group of 9 adults.
I would like to check how do i get to Taoyuan Railway Station from Taoyuan Airport.

By Bus: estimated cost and price?
By Taxi: estimated cost and price?

Taoyuan HSR or Taoyuan City Railway Station??

I’m sure he means Taoyuan HSR station. UBus #705, a shuttle between both terminals and the HSR station. Runs several times an hour. Buy your ticket at the UBus desk inside.

If you have to go to Taoyuan TRA station, my sympathies.

There is a bus to the Taoyuan TRA station. OP might be going there as there are a few hotels nearby and maybe he booked one of those. I’ve taken that bus, its long and slow, figure about an hour to get you from the airport to Taoyuan TRA.

edit: changed to TRA meaning the ordinary train line.

Taxi should take about 40 minutes (maybe an hour during rush hour) and cost around NT$500 per cab. I don’t think there any direct buses, but I could be wrong. You could take a Guo Guang or Evergreen bus to Nankan then get off and wait for a local bus to Taoyuan city center. Altogether shouldn’t cost more than NT$100 per person by bus.

40 minutes? … I do 20-25 min. to Sanxia …

i meant by TRA in the first place, but will probably choose HSR after the suggestions i’ve received

i’m trying to plan the route for my trip to taichung from taoyuan airport. therefore exploring the various possibilities.
