Will they be allowed on the train?

nope~
If I remember correctly that after bird flu warning. Pets are not allowed on the train.

But you can take the bus such as Fay Go, Tong Lane or Koag Gung. As long as the dog is in it’s cage and it’s 50NT for the pets to be on the bus.
I will check with the train station tomorrow.

If you take Aloha, they are 1/2 price of an adult ticket. I dont know if thats for all dogs or each one seperatly.

My friend is sending two quite large adult dogs from Taibei to Gaoxiong today in a cage and a carrier in the freight car.
