Yesterday I was crossing a major intersection in Xindian with my 2 young kids. There’s about 20 seconds left on the crossing timer. Suddenly, when we’re still in the middle of the road, it changes to a red man and a load of traffic starts moving. After waving and shouting at drivers to stop and let us finish crossing, we look over to the box where they control the traffic lights and see some oblivious dickhead police officer on the controls. If we had been hit it would probably have been our fault.
