So it looks like I’ll need to fly back to the UK for a family emergency. Upon returning to Taiwan I’ll need to go to a group quarantine centre, but how do you book that, or don’t you need to? How much does it cost?
You don’t need to make any arrangements.
For foreigners, it’s 1500 NT/night - however - if you have an ARC or arriving with a resident visa without an ARC then it’s free.

But it’s only available for people with travel history to UK, Phillipines and so - right? because why else would you pay a couple thousand NTD per day for sometimes no better hotels, or not much better…
