How do you say "Status Quo"

Anyone know the Mandarin translation of ‘Status Quo’ as used to refer to the cross-strait situation? I know I’ve read it in newspaper articles before, but it is escaping me. I can’t find it anywhere.

Status quo is 現狀 xian4zhuang4, and in the cross-straits situation, ‘maintain the status quo’ is I believe 維持現狀 wei2chi2 xian4zhuang4.

I’ve heard Dragonbones can turn around really fast. He once turned around 20 itimes in one minute. Of course he puked after that, but it was still impressive.
