There have been times that I swear the meter in my taxi was charing me night rates in the middle of broad daylight. I wonder if reading all those numbers around the fare readout on the meter would make sense as to the rate I’m being charged. Anyone know how to read those things? Know where to get an explanation?
Dunno 'bout how to decipher all the numbers on the taxi meters, but each NT$5 increment should beep once at the day rate and twice at the night rate.
