My Taiwanese wife and I are about to get a divorce. How much time will I have after the divorce is final before I have to leave the country? I assume that after so many days my ARC through marriage will be canceled. I just need to know how much time I have to pack up what is mine.

In the first place, you both need to sign the divorce papers so postpone until you are good and ready to leave. Secondly, you don’t always have to leave. Your ARC can remain valid even after divorce. There’s another thread on this. I’ll try to find it later.
Don’t be fooled into thinking that you MUST SIGN THE DIVORCE PAPERS, if that is not what you want to do ( … and regardless of what reasons you may have … whether those are “residency problems,” “work problems,” etc.)
There is no requirement that you sign anything. Many couples do “separate” for lengthy periods without getting divorced.
Moreover, it is usually held that the party which walked out FIRST is abandonning the other party. You should keep a detailed log of what happened and when.
