How strict is the "degree" requirement for a work

Hi all,

I’ll be locating to Taiwan soon and just doing some
traveling/relaxing for the first several weeks.

At some point, I would like to think of applying for a job. I
keep reading that a work visa requires a minmum of a
bachelors degree. I do have the degree from years ago, but
unfortunately, I cannot locate the actual piece of paper.
Must be in storage somewhere. What I do have is a copy of
my transcript from the college showing all the classes I took,
grades, credits, etc… Would this be sufficient in lieu of the
actual degree?

Thank you!
