I’m posting this, because all the posts that I’ve found so far on this subject are not up to date anymore as to be seriously considered as a good reference. Laws and Regulations in Taiwan change so fast and nobody seems to know the right answer to my questions so here we go:
I’m a Swiss citizen, working for a German consulting company and need to apply for a work permit myself (so pls don’t tell me to find a good accounting company).
Where do I need to apply?
What documents do I need to submit?
What documents does my company need to submit.
How long does it take?
I need some up to date information on this. Answers and/or links with up dated informations are very much appreciated.

it is the responsibility of the company to apply for the work permit not the employee’s
If they don’t know… then to be frank… they should figure it out so they know what to do next time
