How to be a bad parent - post your examples

Ok lets not post the gory ones of parents killing their children. The world is very sad for some indeed. But how about some semi-comical ones.

Heres one , and well, its not THAT funny, but the kids are better off without parents like these . With parents like these, who needs enemies right?

We have all heard of neighbors moving and leaving their pets behind but this…

How about how to be a good parent? Don’t try to control them too much, don’t judge them, love them unconditionally, but most of all…as they become their own person in life…accept them for who they are

Fail! lol.

I eat up all the good chocolate they get. They’ll live.

I make indents on that of my own as well. Though I do give them fair warning, and they are getting far more cunning at shoring up their chocolate security perimetre.
And even getting close to keeping up when there is a pizza on the table…

This is also a failure of the American government, one of the richest nations in the world with malnourished kids running around. Too many stories like this from the US.

Yeah, it’s all the U.S. government’s fault:

If the fucking government would just DEPORT these Mexican/Guatemalan/Honduran/whatever-an ILLEGAL IMMIGRANTS, you could read all about how their HOME COUNTRIES were doing a shitty job of things, and then demand that the U.S. increase its international aid programs instead. Oh, wait, I guess it’d STILL be the fault of Americans for not taking care of EVERY SINGLE FUCKING PERSON ON THE PLANET, huh.

Probably the worst thing you could do is send your kid to any school, any recruiter is flogging on this forum.

By the look of some of the positions advertised and the often ridiculous salaries offered, the only ones who would apply for them would be alcoholic pedophiles.

Why do people think that Latin immigrants are over-joyed to make the trip into America? They don’t want to leave their family behind, but considering America generates most of the drug demand and supplies tons of weapons to the wrong hands, it wouldn’t surprise me that people would insist on coming.

Impaler has made a lot of assumptions here, and the the state should try to make sure children are treated right no matter their background or ID. The children should have passed through government institutions such as hospitals, clinics and schools at some point.

Sorry, help me out here, which chapter of the New Testament is “Give me a fucking BREAK” from again???
:roflmao: :roflmao: :roflmao:

I’m an Exchanger Student here in Taiwan and in my class there are lots of friends who live on Red Bull and other kinds of liquids sold in the convenience stores. They study hard but have been consuming x number of these liquids since middle school to pass on their examinations. The parents are not bad parents but they push the kids to study so hard that many of them survive this society by having their daily dosage of these stuffs. Me here, I only drink coffees and I never tried any other thing. My grades are not the best but I don’t consume these strange drinks. And many girls drink those slimming liquids and other drugs sold at Watson’s in their quest to be fit (?) and thinner than their friends (according to my GF).

I am surprised no one has mentioned letting your 3 kids ride on an unroadworthy scooter together, with no helmets, driven by their senile 96 year old, cigarette smoking and binlang chewing while driving grandfather.

This should be no 1 on any list.

I have a good idea about how to be a good parent.

Don’t lie to your kid and tell him “I was the top of my class. So why can’t you be the top of your class?” if you were not actually the top of your class.

I agree. And what follows from that is the mistake made the world over:
Expecting one’s offspring to somehow excel at what one has failed. Projecting one’s own angst about success or failure at any human endeavour onto an untried soul simply will not due.

Who says that?? You tell a child you were good at sth. and they’ll go out of their way to suck in it.
