How to double space or change font size in received PDF docs

If someone sends me a PDF document, is there any way to double space it or change the font size to make it easier to read (and easier to correct after printing out)?

Do you have acrobat professional?

Is it only text or does it have images?

Acrobat Reader 5.1, standard office issue. Text only (with formulae).

OK, then you can’t edit it at all. You need Professional to edit.

However, if it’s just text, you can use the text selector (obvious “T” icon at the top), and click somewhere, then Ctrl-A, Ctrl-C, then open Word or something and just paste it in. Then you can do what you want with it.

Formatting might be a bit messed up though.

Thanks; yeah, tried pasting into Word, and that’s the problem – the formatting goes all to hell. I’ll ask the sender to double-space before sending. Thanks!

Or just ask for the source file. There’s no way it’s written in Acrobat originally.
