How to get a loan in Taiwan

Hi All,

Is it possible to get a personal or educational loan in Taiwan with a foreign passport (EU) but no ARC? How about with a Taiwan passport but no Taiwan ID?

I have a EU and a Taiwan passport, but no ARC or Taiwan ID. I am planning on getting a graduate degree either in the US or Asia, hence will need a sizable loan (say 100K USD). I know Asian schools offer no loans, and US schools only offer MAYBE tuition but not living expenses (and you might still need a US co-signer which I don’t have)

I don’t think you can get an educational loan in Taiwan in this case. You must have a Taiwan ID. But if you consider to have a degree in Taiwan on science or engineering, I know some schools can offer you 24K-30K NT/month for a PhD degree, but not for a master program.
