I have got a nasty trojan on my PC.
All the trojan virus scanners I have found have missed it
Know any good ones that are free that catch trojans
Thanks

Which ones have you tried so far?
Spybot Search & Destroy and Ad-aware have always worked very well for me.

Tried Spybot and other tools that are available on download. All of these could not find it
Norton detects says it is quaratined but somehow gets loose again
Used an online Trojan scanner to find it. As soon as it got to the directory that contained the Trojan, the application was shut down
Have tried to manually delete it but it comes back
What is the trojan’s name? Google it. There may be a manual way to remove it if you search the various sites.
Must be buried. Norton is finding it on the surface but not getting at the root, which is why it reappears, probably on start-up. Many trojans require a complex fix, to root them out. Norton’s site has some fixes. Microsoft’s has some as well.
