So I received my aprc but I’m confused about this letter. They gave me stating I need to reside in the country each year for 183 days or it will be revoked. Previously, including on this website, I heard that for foreign professionals as myself, only need to be in the country for o1 day out of 5 years. Could it be through bureaucracy that they actually don’t know the truth and are wrong? Or is the letter correct and the information I received incorrect? Much appreciated!
That’s exactly what point 5 says.
If you’re a foreign professional, point 5 applies, otherwise point 4.
The letter is correct.
Can request online exemption previously up to 2 years but think now is up to 5 years filed annually. Seems like it’s mostly administrative.
Which aprc u got? for work based aprc, u only need to be in taiwan once every 5 years.
