How to receive Taiwan bank SMS after leaving TW and without TW SIM

To keep it very short. I’ve left Taiwan, ARC has expired, I no longer have a TW phone number.

I got paid after I left, and will be getting paid + tax return etc.
I can not access to my money because card purchases, transfers etc. require either a bank visit or verification through SMS OTPs.

Surely this is a common problem for foreigners who leave Taiwan?

Anyone aware of a solution?

Every bank I’ve asked at can send OTPs over e-mail or in the app. Maybe you should call them to ask. The expired ARC might well be an issue though.

You still have the banks atm card? If so, have you tried using it in one of your local atm machines to withdraw cash?

Is not an option with my bank, unfortunately

I do. This is the only method so far but is very unsustainable for large amounts
