I am a big introvert. I hate crowds or bars or places with lot of strangers around me. I am not into outdoor activities like hiking, mountain climbing or even outdoor sports.
So I guess no other way left lol. Dating while being outdoors is for extrovert people mostly
That’s totally fine, you just eliminated half the dating pool without having to waste even one minute of your time!
More seriously, this just helps define your “zone”:
indoors
not crowded
quiet (I assume)
doing something you’d enjoy doing alone anyway
And that’s it!
So:
make a list of your favorite indoor activities
make a list of places relating to those activities, (stores, theme cafes, meetups, etc)
also consider “adjacent” venues, e.g. if you’re into RPGs and painting miniatures, then instead of staying home to paint, go to a local maker space, if you’re into drawing, go draw in a library or a cafe, etc
The point being, if you’re someplace that’s already comfortable, doing something you enjoy, you’ll be more relaxed, and you have topics at hand to discuss with others.
More especially, you can ask for help! (This is why it’s okay to be bad at things - e.g. maybe your art is complete shite - even more reason to ask for help!)
Always remember - most other people aren’t extroverts either, (even the ones that seem to be are usually faking it :), and most other people do like to help - asking for help is the perfect ice-breaker!
“Gosh, I ran out of [thing], do you know where I could find some?”
“I’m trying to do [thing] but I’ve been working on it so long I feel like I need a different set of eyes on it.”
“Oh, wow, this is so cool! Do you know if there are more? Do you like [thing]?”
etc, etc
But cut the conversation short, you’re a busy guy, you’d love to chat more (really!) what’s their Line?
if you are in Taiwan, you could ask the person if they could translate what the Chinese characters say of something on the shelf. Better to have something in your hand and hand it to them.
I believe a large proportion of women do actually just want an average looking stable guy. Someone reliable, dependable, has a good job, won’t cheat, etc. But these girls get snapped up and taken off the market quickly.
This leaves dating with the girls who can’t find a suitable man in real life. Too picky, expectations too high, an inflated sense of self worth, etc.
It’s better to try to meet women in real life, and just use dating apps for casual hookups only.
