How to use a proxy server?

I’ve seen other posters’ reference to using a proxy server when they’ve been blocked from accessing a website (the itaiwan.org topic).

There’s a website I’ve been trying to access in the States for the last two months. Previously I had no trouble, but now I’m getting a ‘403 - Forbidden’

Is there a way to get around this?

Perhaps you need to find a proxy server that is based in the States.

To use it click on the tool bar (T) Tools then (0) Internet options then Lan - fill in the proxy after ticking the box and the port number - OK

Do a search for “free proxy servers” and select one that will work for you
