A big problem is how to pronounce those proper nouns you’ve never seen before . Chinese is tough !

That’s also a good point. It would be easy to put the pinyin onto each character for the proper nouns; maybe I’ll do that on the principle that it would be useful for me at least.
Well, it’s been a while since I posted. I finished the noun recognition app a long time ago and I finally found a place to host it for free, although it’s a bit slow to load. If anyone wants to check it out it’s hosted on AWS here. I just made a simple user interface, but I’d appreciate any comments or suggestions you might have about it. I went ahead and added pronunciation for the chinese part as well.
