Hi, I just got here in Kaohsiung for almost 3 weeks now and I am wondering what are my options for me to get my HRT (Pills and Injectables) so i can continue my transition? Where to get and how much would it cost?

Just walk into the pharmacy and ask.
Might have to go to a few places to find what you are looking for. High end places have bioidenticals.
If you already know what you want and dosage, skip the doctors
There’s a handful of chuds on this site, hopefully none drop in to share their oh so valuable perspectives on the matter.
If they do, can always flag and let them whine to themselves. Just mark it as off topic.
Anyhow, If you need the doctor to get dosages and such, it seems (from what I’ve read) that you’ll need to first talk to a psych to get a 性別不安診斷證明書 gender dysphoria certificate. I’m not sure if it’ll actually be issued as a “certificate” as much as a diagnosis.
The website below lists doctors all across Taiwan who do work with trans individuals, both for psychologists and endocrinologists, among other things (surgeons, voice training etc.). Hospitals and doctor names are listed: when you go to the 掛號 counter, they should be able to schedule you with a specific doctor if you request it. Otherwise, you can ask to go to the 精神科 to discuss 性別不安 / to do a 變性評估. Show em the characters and potentially show them the doctors names mentioned below.
After getting the diagnosis/certificate, you’ll need to go to a different doc for the HRT meds. They’ll want to do a health check, but so long as there aren’t any issues there you should then be given a dosage etc. for the HRT meds. They’ll also want to schedule periodical check ups.
I’m not trans myself, so I mostly referenced other info available on the web. This page describes the entire process the writer experienced getting their HRT prescription.
Hopefully this is accurate and helpful if directly going to get the meds isn’t an option. And, with the cost of healthcare here, naja. Might as well make sure all your numbers are in order. Hope all goes well!
If you need any other assistance with finding the Chinese for certain things, feel free to ask.
I already have those certificate when I was in my home country, Unfortunately, i didnt bring those certificate and Im afraid that I wont be able to get my HRT pills without any prescription here in taiwan.
Getting those certificates sent to you is not possible?
What pharmacy can you recommend?
The one I had was issued for like 6yrs ago. I no longer have the physical copy but the pharmacist still let me buy my prescription drug since they already know me. I usually buy Progynova, Androcur 50mg, Proluton and Progynon vials. Sometimes, I buy Dianne pills.
There’s a chance local authorities wouldn’t recognize it anyhow. 6 years is a decent bit of time too.
If you have health insurance you can just walk into a hospital and probably get the certificate within a week for really cheap. If you don’t have insurance, you can probably still get the psychologist part done with pretty cheaply.
Most of the doctors speak some English; if that’s not your native language, google translate should work short term. If you’ve been transitioning for 6 years already, it should be easier to have that on your side. Just explain you’re already 6 years in and just need the certificate to continue getting the HRT medication.
I’m not in your city
