HTC HD7 (Windows Phone 7)

So I became eligible for an upgrade and got my new phone at Taiwan Da Gu Da.

They handed it to me already configured with English as the interface language. (OK, it was Australian English, but easily changed to US such as it matters.)

I received some txt messages in Chinese and they display just fine.

When I attempt to write something in (my very very limited Chinese,) I attempt to choose a Traditional Chinese keyboard but there is exactly one keyboard choice available and that’s English.

Does this mean the HTC HD7 only supports writing in English or is there some other setting I don’t know about?

Windows Phone 7 does not support Far East Asian language input right now. Probably not until H2 2011.

They also don’t support a bunch of the features in Taiwan, for whatever reason and Microsoft is not officially supporting Windows Phone 7 in Taiwan.

A local friend who is an electrical engineer provided this solution: : "there seem still not chinese input software for HD7 now. but you can download “chinese mail " from marketplace(trial version). and you can type with the software and use copy paste function to where you want.”
