Hu Jintao is visiting NYC, any protest slogans or tactics?

Hu Jintao is coming to the Waldorf Astoria hotel at New York City on September 21st.

Got any slogans or tactics you could recommend?

On September 20th will be the 60th birthday of the CCP.

I think you should pretend to be his supporters. Wave Chinese flags, and carry signs like:

“DOWN WITH DEMOCRACY! GO CHINA!”

“DEATH TO THE DALAI LAMA! GO CHINA!”

“LONG LIVE THE DICTATORSHIP OF THE COMMUNIST PARTY!”

“HUMAN RIGHTS ARE FOR IMPERIALIST RUNNING-DOGS”

“STRIKE HARD AGAINST THE ENEMIES OF CHINA!” (this one could have photos of Rebiya Kadeer, the Dalai Lama, the guy in front of the tank, etc)

“REMEMBER JAPANESE GENOCIDE!!! And never mind what we did…”

“STRIP THE ORGANS OF THOSE WHO HURT THE FEELINGS OF THE CHINES E PEOPLE!”

“THE COMMUNIST PARTY REPRESENTS: TRUTHFULNESS…COMPASSION…FORBEARANCE” (this one could have a mandala design with German swastikas)

:roflmao:
Classic post status!

Where do you get “facts” like that? :loco:

“STOP SENDING NORTH KOREAN REFUGEES TO THEIR DEATHS!”

I’m serious.

Sorry I meant the 60th anniversary of the founding of the PRC. I’m an idiot for writing it’ll be the 60th birthday of the CCP instead of the PRC.

No, but you WILL be an idiot if you don’t get some of Screaming Jesus’ slogans printed up on some big placards. Can you IMAGINE?

Agreed. You need something funny and attention-grabbing, not the usual ‘Free Tibet’ pointless shit - they expect that. Do it right and you can shame their hosts into the bargain.

Brilliant.

One more ‘Free Tibet’ banner has no effect. One single banner like this removes any and all credibility from the pro-China contingent at this event. :notworthy: Just pick one of the slightly more subtle ones lest the pro-China crowd catch onto to your true intentions and kick your teeth in.

any of the last three would be brilliant. in fact, use a board with three faces… rotate after two minutes in each direction.

Since it’s in America…

TMD You’ve been registered since 2007 with 124 posts and the best you can do is re-post something from Failblog?

You’re gonna have work harder for your 0.5.

Just my :2cents:

And 9/11 happened on August 31 in Mexico. I’m just saying, if being accurate with the facts is optional, then …

BTW, I vote for SJ’s last slogan.

The Harmonious Society theme seems like fertile ground.

Build a Harmonious Society,
Strike Down the Dalai Lama & Splittists

Harmonious Society Doesn’t Need Human Rights

Harmonize Society by Eliminating Social Cancers

LONG LIVE DICTATORSHIP WITH CHIN ESE CHARACTERISTICS

Dragonbones made this awesome sign a few years ago:

It just needs to be tweaked a little: “Ein Volk, ein Reich, ein China! Jawohl!” :salute:

A lot of people find playing with third Reich stuff offensive, though, and the visitors are unlikely to get it? The point is to alienate and piss off the Chinese visitors, not the Americans, surely? They’d be lynched if they walked around with that, in Europe.

I found all the ‘Chen as Hitler’ pics disgusting.
