Factory explosion is my guess.

Anyone have some news?

Guy

May full warehouse fire .They have been trying to put it out for four days already. Was smell of burnt plastic in the air at times yesterday (even though AQI said good ), was probably from that fire.

If it’s the factory fire in Nankan it’s been burning all weekend.

Supposedly the fire has been put out already. Hard to believe eh.

Just drove past and near elevated highway.

Huge warehouse looking buildings huge flames.

Flames themselves were few stories high and couple hundred meters long.

Must have started again or spread if old because this looks new buildings burning right now.

News reporting is Carrefour warehouse.

Curious to see how this will affect foodstuff availability.

Nooooooooo.

Edit: I just remembered that Carrefour includes Wellcome now. Meh, nevermind. Not necessarily a total disaster for imported stuff.

Carrefour also owns Welcome and Jason’s.

Still waiting for someone else or more news to confirm it truly is the Carrefour Warehouse

They must have caved in the roof. They said they were going to have to destroy the top few floors and it reignited it I guess.

See this (not good for Carrefour, looks big)

Seems it’s a different fire ?

The story linked by Connie seems to be about a fire in Yangmei?

The plot thicken . . .

Guy

They literally have a scorched earth policy around leaving.

Liberty times says Carrefour.

Oh man, Carrefours stock was already getting shittier due to supply line issues. This certainly won’t help matters.

Looks like residential buildings nearby. Imagine living there and all that shitty cancerous black smoke wafting into your apartment.
