I am glad he’s no longer with us; I did have terrible misgivings about the way his demise came about. He was hanged… hanged!.. (in the 21st century, for crissakes) by a puppet state of the US.
Let’s see who else supported Prop 8:
People aged 55+ (56%)
Evangelical Christians (85%)
Catholics (60%)
Protestants (66%)
The non-college-educated (69%)
The proposition passed by a slim majority: 52%. If any of these groups hadn’t voted for it, Prop 8 would not have passed. It makes no sense to blame blacks when they make up far less than 52% of the population of California.

This is important to the hypocrisy that liberal don’t crucify their own for being such wankers. Evangelicals don’t normally vote Democrat. Blacks and minorities do. Not in this case. So, rights for blacks and minorities are ok, but rights for gays are not…in the black and minority communities in CA.
My point being, if you want to bash people for being hypocrites, be evenhanded.

Wait, we are criticizing and at time enjoying Republicans or just social conservatives in general who push the anti-gay or anti-gay rights agenda and then turn out themselves to be gay, making them hypocrites. We are watching them take some o their nasty medicine.
We are not picking general groups of people (e.g. blacks in CA) that have voted against such things - there’s no hypocrisy and taking of medicine there, HB. The blacks who voted for Prop 8 are not being hypocritical, and the liberals who don’t criticize the blacks who voted for Prop 8 are perhaps being hypocritical but are not turning out to be non-gay or something and suffering for it. That’s was the purpose of the thread - to put on display and/or how nasty hypocritical bigoted conservatives are gay, coming out, and suffering for it. You should put that other stuff in Those Silly Liberals or something.
