I know I say stupid things, but I just wanted to say

That I finally got my plane tickets to Taiwan!! Yay!!

I’m going to be leaving May 22, 2008 and returning back to America August 20th, 2008. Just a nice 3 month stay to study a bit of chinese in Feng chia University.

I’m so glad I will be able to be over there, so now i can finally get a sense of the taichung live, and maybe look around Normal taiwan university in case i plan on doing a quick master’s degree there.

You guys that are over there are so lucky to be over there, can’t wait to leave, school just gets in the way of my excitement, i really want to go as soon as possible :frowning:.

Anyways, thanks for putting up with my silly questions.

such youthful enthusiasm is simply wonderful to see.

we all grow old eventually, so enjoy it while it lasts.

I will see you there then  (I currently study Chinese at Feng Chia). PM me if u got any questions.

I’m betting on Taiwanese wife, 5 kids and 40 years on the island. Good luck. :smiling_imp:

 ya. I give the Taiwanese girls a week for one to snare him. And the rest is history.

Lol, well I am not sure If I will develop an obsession for Taiwan per say, I guess we will see :P. What happens normally to people that go?

They become witty, suave, intellectually superior and irresistible to the ladies.

Some of them.

Well if I’m anything to go by, you’ll look like this in only four days!

Exercise one’s olfactory senses, including the sixth one.
Also prepare for noise pollution.
“I smell effluvium, and hear a cacophony; therefore I am.”

:yinyang:

Anyways…

Well I’m now applying for my 60day renewable visitor vista!! yay!!

It such a hassle though, all the steps one person must do to get a visa, an to apply to the school, find a place to live… etc.

I hope everything goes smoothly and that you have a good experience in Taiwan.
