That and get rid of all the other 10,000 irritants of Taiwan life. But then again, I’ve been up all night, which is why I’m delerious enough to think China could improve Taiwan. I would support a (temporary) reunification with Japan anyday. If they take over for, let’s say, 30 years, the economy will get boosted and China will hopefully back off (unless a war starts). Then Japan can let Taiwan succeed peacefully and it will finally join UN.
