I try the latest fad cocktails so you don't have to šŸ¹

First it was coriander everything, including cocktails…

I’m a coriander fan, but I could only take two sips before the rest went down the drain.

Today I found this Dubai chocolate highball—Korea being the guilty party this time. Against my better judgement, I tried it…

As expected, it was nasty. Now I’m waiting for the inevitable century egg wine spritzer.

What I do for science

Gonna have to change your name to Steve4nMasochist.

Please try this bad boy next, it’s in 7-11.

Yes! Please suffer for our entertainment!

How deep

What %? (I assume that’s what ā€œhighballā€ means?)

Highball is just a classification of drink. Most commonly is referring to whisky plus soda, but really means any 1+1 drink in a highball glass.

New monstrosity to try:

lol, it’s pretty damn good. Easy to drink, little vegetal hints, fruit hints, kind of a creamy mouthfeel 回ē”˜. Pretty enjoyable. I especially like it because I love this drink. Seems like it might have been intentional. Just wish it wasn’t ~200 calories!

Not a cocktail but a ā€œbeerā€ - I do think that this one should qualify for this thread:

TTL’s Penghu Special Taiwan Beer. Only 3% alcohol - and with brown sugar. Tastes nothing like beer - more like some soda drink. The brown sugar note is rather strong, though.

Reminds me a bit about brown sugar milk tea where someone added a tiny splash of beer.

Ingredients (AI translation):

Barley malt, Penglai rice, hops, cane sugar, winter-melon syrup, lemon juice, black sugar, flavoring, and citric acid.

Extra strength Bar Beer.

Anyone brave enough to try it?

No.

Stop buying Chinese made beer

Looks like you’re going to have to do it for us…

Let us know how it is!

Is the ABV achieved the same way those high ABV European beers at SimpleMart do it?

I didn’t know it’s from China :open_mouth:
