It’s just two pages so far but I want more more more - please!
If you have any good ones or come across them on the Net please post the URL here (without ‘img’ tags) or in a PM.

I want funny, cool, interesting, weird, beautiful pictures - no porn or sick pics.

Thanks! :sunglasses:

Spack,

Interesting collection, but what’s up with the Disney/orgy thing? Is that something you clipped from the deep, dark subconscious of Michael Eisner?

Cheers,
CK

Apparently some naughty artists from Disney did it themselves thinking it wouldn’t see the light of day. Can’t remember where I got that from.

Did they ever find the guy in this (fake) photo? I remember people were trying to figure out who he was for months, but I never heard of him coming forward.

Yes, they did. In fact the site where I got this from was all about these famous faked photos on the net. Unfortuntately, I do not remember the name of the site; it was a link I clicked on.

OK, I found it:
museumofhoaxes.com/photos/touristguy.html

which has a link to more info about this guy:

excerpt:
The photo shown above began circulating through e-mail a few days after the events of September 11, 2001. An accompanying message explained that it came from a camera found in the rubble of the world trade center. Apparently the photo had been taken just seconds before disaster struck.

The image became a pop-culture sensation and soon received attention from both national and international media. Perhaps the source of the fascination with it (besides its sensational subject matter) was that it counterposed a scene of such innocence (a tourist posing for a holiday snapshot) with a scene of such horror (the hijacked plane approaching from behind). In this way, it evoked the prevailing consciousness in America immediately following the attack of having been wrenched from an age of innocence into a new nightmare reality. The picture also spoke to the surprise nature of the attack (the tourist’s back is turned, and he seems unaware of the fate that is soon to engulf him).

Of course, the picture was completely fake, as could be seen by a number of easy clues:
The man is wearing heavy clothing on what was a warm day.
The wrong type of plane is approaching from behind. Both of the jets that crashed into the World Trade Center were 767s, whereas a 757 is shown in this photo.
The plane is approaching from the wrong direction.
In the months following the appearance of the ‘Tourist Guy’ photo, a worldwide search ensued to discover who the man in the picture really was.
Thanks jude11. I actually have that one already in The Collection.
I have received several PMs with offers of pics. Thank you for those.

To the rest of you, don’t be shy!

Woohoo! Thanks, Spack.

There are a bunch of photos at this site:

I guess someone collected all of the images that people emailed him over the years. Some are dumb, some are raunchy, some are hilarious, some are just cute. From the counter at the bottom, there are at least 450 to choose from. The dog food ads starting at #55 are cute, and #122 might appeal to some twisted peeople.

Exxxxxcellent. Thanks MPD.

NP! 161 and 170 are pretty spiffy, too.

Bump.
I can’t wait for the chance to use this one here on the boards. C’mon, someone say something stupid…make my day!
