I want to change the school I work at!

I have a job at a cram school but I have the opportunity to get a better job at a high school with better pay and hours. Does anyone know what my obligations are to the school I originally signed my contract with are? I have just begun the process for my ARC and should have it by months end. The job at the other school does not open until the beginning of September so I have some time to work things out. My contract says that if I want to laeve all I need to do is give 2 weeks notice. Similarly, if my boss wants to fire me all he has to do is give me 2 weeks notice. So I would like to know what the process is for changing my ARC from one school to another?

Any suggestions here would help and be greatly appreciated.

Aren’t those listed somewhere in your contract?

How is a high school going to get you an ARC? Are you absolutely, 100%, certain that they can do this? Or is there an agent involved?

A friend of mine use to work at a high school in Taichung and they got him an ARC no problem. There was no agent involved at all. I am under the assumption that it is like working at a cram school. They will do all the necessary paper work for you. Many high schools in Taiwan now teach English as part of there curriculum
