It seems you’ll be banned for 6-8 years. There’s no way you are coming in with another passport during that time , they have your prints and photo.

More on the positive side of the ledger: in the US being a convicted criminal does not seem to be an impediment to upward advancement. You can even be elected President! Plus there should be lots more guns there!

2 years for smuggling weapons into Taiwan seems very light. Minimum sentence is like 5 years, and death sentence is possible.

Maybe there’s mitigating circumstances.

Also did the op get prosecuted in the US? Exporting firearms out of the US is an itar violation.
