I was deported right after prison

Good riddance you won’t be coming back and you don’t belong here and have contributed nothing here, you disrespect Taiwanese , you have committed a serious offense dealing with illegal weapons and even on this forum you come in here and disrespect the forum members coming here and dumping all your shit here. This forum is not here for you to drive by and shit all over it. Your years in jail taught you nothing. And make your mind up what your identity is I have never seen somebody so confused.

It seems you’ll be banned for 6-8 years. There’s no way you are coming in with another passport during that time , they have your prints and photo.

How the hell are you confused that you get treated as a criminal when you are a criminal ?

Bye bye…

To the OP, you’re correct it’s probably a waste of time asking on here.

What’s your goal? You want to sue? Get some money back? Government to say sorry? Find a Taiwanese wife?

The juice ain’t worth the squeeze.

It seems he doesn’t know if he’s American, Chinese or Taiwanese. Take your pick I guess when it’s convenient yeah. Anyway he’s not Taiwanese or he wouldn’t be deported !

Why you don’t even like it and spent years in jail because you are an idiot. Feeling is mutual.

Court Sentence Entry Ban Duration
Imprisonment for 5 years or more 8 years
Imprisonment for 3 years or more but less than 5 years 7 years
Imprisonment for 1 year or more but less than 3 years 6 years
Imprisonment for less than 1 year 5 years
Short-term imprisonment or a fine 3

Please reach out to this guy he has all the answers.

This rocks. I often think this forum should close up shop, but once in a blue moon you get a gem post like this. You couldn’t torture info like this out of me lmao.

Defiance is a dangerous attitude when you are on the wrong side of the law…

Based on that earlier quotation, it sounds like the OP was strongly advising readers to do something—move immediately to the US—that the OP did not actually want to do. Well now the OP can partake in the pleasure of the wonders and joys of what he calls this “post-liberal world order.” Enjoy!

More on the positive side of the ledger: in the US being a convicted criminal does not seem to be an impediment to upward advancement. You can even be elected President! Plus there should be lots more guns there!

Guy

Just out of curiousity why did you decide to get a gun in Taiwan? Were you involved with gangsters or something? To me Taiwan feels like the place you least need a gun in the world, but I move in some pretty boring circles.

You have any basis for thinking that, other than you’d like it?

Probably because your are a convicted criminal.

You are a newly released convicted criminal with a gun charge, yes?

You tried to smuggle 16 handguns into Taiwan?

2 years for smuggling weapons into Taiwan seems very light. Minimum sentence is like 5 years, and death sentence is possible.

Maybe there’s mitigating circumstances.

Also did the op get prosecuted in the US? Exporting firearms out of the US is an itar violation.

Op likely did it for money. Gangsters will pay very good money for illegal guns.

Finally somebody who knows what they are talking about, you guys definitely have some things in common.

News from far out on the limb.

I am not in US or Taiwan right now.
OK, thank you all for the advice I did learn something.

Seriously, you broke one of the most serious laws they have here and then expect them to allow you to walk the streets while you sort your affairs out???

Sorry, I am suprised they didn’t drive you from the prison direct to the airport and just put you on a plane there and then.

Do you have residence rights there? Maybe consider staying there, since Taiwan doesn’t want you and you don’t want to live in the U.S.

Same for Taiwan with A-Bian, no? Jailed before and after.

It’s amazing how deeply embedded Trump is in some people’s minds. Everything, no matter the topic, triggers them.

A US citizen is complaining about his deportation process after GUUUUUUUUUUNS!

I think the current deportation methods in the US are not entirely off-topic.
