I WIsh They All Could Be California Girls

I wish they all could be California girrrrrllllsssss… :stuck_out_tongue:  :notworthy:

Comparisons to California aren’t fair. Remember that most of the beautiful girls in California aren’t native Californians. The best looking girl in Cornhusk, Iowa moves out to California to fuck her way to the top of the modeling/porn/Hollywood world. That’s why California has so many beautiful women - the main industries that employ beautiful women to be beautiful are all located in southern California. So the best looking women from all over the country flock down there in hopes of making it. Comparing anywhere in the world to California isn’t fair for that reason.

California girls? Mmmmmmmm! At least if you like fake teeth and rubber titties.

Actually, I was just making light of the comments posted earlier. I love all women, all shapes and sizes, all races and religions. I have a pretty broad range of what I think is beautiful, but the Cali girls do hold a special place in my heart. And Mod, I hope you were joking. If you don’t/haven’t lived in SoCal in particular, then you really have NO IDEA about the home grown beauties, and are not in much of a position to judge. :notworthy:

EDIT:
Man it’s a shame that some of you are buying into the stereotype of the plastic, fake SoCal woman. That’s all the Hollywood image, and I’m sorry to say that Tinseltown comprises only about 1% of Southern California. :rainbow:

thats definately true to some extent with women in los angeles on the model circuit and the such (the mod lang theory) but at the same time… I am talking about women in Uni, look at UCLA (lots of beautiful women) it is over 80% in-state students, california natives. Perhaps the previous generation that spawned these girls were made up by this gold-digging demographic. As for women on TV and billboards and the such…the “cornhusk, nebraska” thing is probably a fair assertion. Where ever you have big cities however, with large amounts of money flowing through them you get beautiful women flocking to these places, I would argue that any stunners in the boondocks of taiwan probably also move to taipei. A key factor may be weather differences

I completely agree. California is an image, a state of mind. In reality, the “California beauty” is quite likely to be from anywhere.
I don’t know if Taiwanese gals are actually better or worse looking than women anywhere else, but I do know that many Taiwanese women often seem quite approachable, in a good way. They seem willing to talk with me, and they seem to have a good sense of humor. I have found Taiwanese women to be very nice and that makes them sexy to me.
Actually, I find Taiwanese ladies to be every bit as sexy as the women in California, New York and all stops in between.

God, not another one. Keep piling on the ignorance, guys. :noway:

God, not another one. Keep piling on the ignorance, guys. :noway:[/quote]

Man, just keep fooling yourself. I’ve been to California and if you are trying to say or imply that all the ladies in California look like the ones from Baywatch, then the ignorance is coming from you.
However the weather is sooo nice in California that I forgive your ignorance since it is probably due to the sunshine being in your eyes which is making you think that all the girls there are beautiful. Trust me, they are not!

Cableguy why don’t you go back in this thread and quote the post where I stated or implied that ALL California girls are anything like Baywatch girls. Oh you can’t find it? I didn’t think so.

My beef is with you ignorant bastards who seem to think ALL women are fake, plastic, blah blah blah in California, or that these type of women are the norm, or that Cali has no homegrown beauties and they all come from outside the state. News flash for all you idiots who did little more than pass through there…THESE WOMEN ARE NOT THE RULE, THEY ARE THE EXCEPTION. Unless you have ridiculously higher standards than the average Californian guy who is spoiled silly with the wealth of very attractive women. Obviously you’re reading too much into the fact that I like my local girls a lot. So sue me.

Holy hell that’s like me coming here and saying that just because I’ve been here, I can safely say that all Taiwanese women are stupid. What a crock of sh*t. Try using more than 2 brain cells when calling someone out, cableguy.

Ok, let me try to use “more than 2 brain cells.” I simply replied to your post in which you called me ignorant, or do you deny doing that? Even in this post you called me and others who disagree with you “idiots.” Also, you called us “ignorant bastards.” Well, you sure have a lot to say, or at least a lot of names to call people.
So, you like your “local girls a lot.” I don’t blame you. California has many attractive, even beautiful, ladies. That is the truth and I never did, nor would I, dispute that fact. What I did say was that “California is an image, a state of mind.” What I meant by that was that the image many of us have of California is that everyone there looks beautiful, which is not reality. It is an image created by movies and television. That is all that I meant.
Due to the comments you made, I was seriously considering not replying to your post. Afte all, why should I or anyone else bother replying to someone who thinks it is necessary to call names to those people who disagree with them. However, I am sure you were just feeling defensive because you felt that you were being attacked. Let me assure you that I never meant to insult you or attack you in any way.
That being said, I will ignore your offensive comments directed at me. I simply have no desire to engage in childish name calling.

It was meant to be a general statement to those I had beef with, but you took it personally because I quoted you, it seems. Not totally unexpected.

So you agree that you are one of “them”. Good call. I didn’t even have to make that one. Haha. And exactly what would be your choice words pertaining to individuals who make unsound judgements based only on reputation and brief experience? What you call “excrement”, I call “crap”. Does word choice make you better than me?

And you wait until someone challenges your opinion to specify on a sweeping generalization. Was that a planned move or what?

I welcome other people’s opinions, but not when they are based on hearsay and conjecture, as it was presented in this thread. I’m all for differing views, as long as they are educated views and not based on bias or lack of knowledge. If you shoot your mouth (or in this case fingers) off about something you don’t even know about, then frankly you deserve the backlash.

Brilliant deduction. Only me, almost all my female family members, friends, etc.

It’s called letting yourself go to raw emotion, cableguy. Look into it sometime and maybe you’ll understand why someone resorts to such a measure when pressed. Not at all saying I was right in doing so, heavens no… :smiling_imp:

EDIT:
I let these people get to me way too easily. I apologize to anyone reading this who had to put up with my ranting. I get fiercely passionate about a lot of things, let alone my home. I know I know it’s only a message board. :stuck_out_tongue:

I live in cali and I have lived in taipei so when I say I think theyre better looking I am basing this off personal experience not TV… I think that most taiwanese women that come to america are probably part of the wealthy elite so it gives you false expectations about what their counterparts back there look like, that is my conclusion. there are definately ugly women in california, but the frequency I see them in los angeles does not size up with taiwan.

It was meant to be a general statement to those I had beef with, but you took it personally because I quoted you, it seems. Not totally unexpected.

How does my repeating what you called me and others make me agree that I am ideed what you said? I don’t understand you.

I waited until someone challenged my opinion because I didn’t know that I was making “a sweeping generalization.” Thus, I felt the need to futher clarify what I meant in order to stop any further misunderstanding. Have you never done that? Clarified your position only when you found out someone was misunderstanding what you meant? If not, I have.

Why are you the expert on California? You say I don’t know anything about the place or the people who live there. How do you know that? Have we met before? I’ll agree that I wasn’t born there, nor did I spend as much time as you, but does that mean I can’t comment on subject? Since you are not Taiwanese, then I guess that means you should not comment on anything about this place. Don’t comment on the food, politics, people, etc because you weren’t born here and according to your way of thinking based on your posts, that makes your viewpoints “based on bias or lack of knowledge.” (You words, not mine).

Trust me, I have also experienced “raw emotion,” but I try not to engage in too much name-calling when I am angry, especially when I am posting on these threads. I understand that these threads offer anonymity so sometimes it may seem acceptable to call names. However, based on my life experience, if a person called another person names when having a debate face-to-face, that may indeed lead to violence. So, I try to keep the name calling out of my debates with others lest I or the person get hurt. Anyway, I am getting way to old to “duke it out” anymore or get into any street fights so I try to watch my words in order to avoid such a problem.

Anyway, you’re a “fiercely passionate” person so I expect I will probably have other debates with you. I look forward to it. However, perhaps you could keep the name-calling out of any debate and then we may not feel like smacking each other in the face, or kicking each other in the balls, if we ever have the opportunity to meet in public.
After all, we won’t have an opportunity to meet any lovely California ladies, or maybe even Taiwanese ladies, if our teeth are missing, and nasty scars are on our faces because we had to resort to name-calling which led to violence. (I for one can’t possibly afford to have my face look any more “disfigured.” I need to retain my beauty, or what is left of it. :astonished:  )

Again, if I offended you, or your family/friends or any other female living in California, including Paris Hilton/Courtney Love/Janet Jackson, etc, I sincerely apologize. As I said before, California is filled with beatiful ladies and nobody can dispute that. (Sorry, I know that is a “sweeping generalization,” which is something that bothers you, but I didn’t think you would mind especially since it is a compliment to the ladies of California which is a subject you are “fiercely passionate” about  ).

I have discussed this with numerous friends and I think its correct
wealth=good looks/hot chicks
I have lived in los angeles almost 4 years now and noticed that roughly 90% of hispanic women here (in south central LA where I often take public transport through, the source of my observations) are overweight as are most black women (most likely completely skewing statistics about americans being fat). At the same time however, I see flocks of beautiful women in beverly hills and the such. I dont know if its such a blindingly obvious point to make that it shouldnt even be mentioned but I think its faulty to compare somewhere wealthy to someone poor in terms of how the women look. Hence I take back my disparraging comments about taiwanese women. I think in every country beautiful flock to rich men, or are at least chased by rich guys, and there offspring are therefore often quite goodlooking

I disagree. I think rich guys use these girls. Well-heeled men can smell these type of girls’ materialistic inclinations a mile away. They use them for hot, juicy, sweaty-pig sex, and then show them the door. Marriage as an institution serves two functions: one is financial, the other involves child rearing. I would rather have a “smart” average to good looking woman perform this function than a hotty totty bimbo that is a 10 out of 10, but clueless. I think your views on marriage are somewhat Darwinian.

Chewy

Chewy

Alternately, the bimbos use the men for expensive dates, clothes, jewelry, and other toys, then dump the guys.

A friend of mine in Sandy Eggo was dating twins (real blondes; they let him check on the first night they met) for a few months. The twins made out like bandits financially. I briefly considered getting a sex change, but balked at bleaching my hair.

 Winning comment. :aiyo:

yo buddy, I hope you werent being sarcastic because weather seriously does impact people quite a bit… recently I read that people in hawaii were the fittest people in america… if you go there you will notice most women have amazing figures… I have distant relatives there I have visited several times…think about it. tropical weather its perpetually warm so women always have have to be ready to bear their bodies at the beach (in bikinis) hence most women have amazing figures…the same applies in southern california. however as you go farther north, the women get uglier for every degree, the pacific northwest is particularly notorious. considering oregon and washington state are overcast 9 months out of the year, women dont have much incentive to have nice “beach” bodies right? it makes perfect sense. If women are that heinous as north as oregon (I have visited Uof O and it has no comparison with UCLA UC berkely etc) than in canada and washington state they must be setting world records or something

Z-man, having grown up in Cali and gone to Uni for 3 years in Oregon, I can’t dispute your reasoning at all. It’s TRUE! Holy hell, I didn’t see that freight train coming. :astonished:

But seriously I would agree with all your points in the previous post.

I’ve been to Southern California … and I must say, the women there are absolutely stunning!

I am not talking about women in ads or magazines or just models, just walk around and look around.

What makes it like it is the extreme multiracial population of the area. You’ve got white, black, Asian and Latina beauties, in other words, all types of women.

I grew up in a small European country where other races used to be only on TV. The general idea was that black women were anything but beautiful. But go to LA and what do you see on the beach, or at universities or pubs and clubs? Black women so beautiful that you wouldn’t turn your head if Halle Berry or Tyra Banks came along.

I haven’t been to Hawaii or Miami, but I’m convinced that there too, it’s the multiracial thing that does it.

And as to Taiwan: if beauty is the only standard to consider here, then Taiwanese women are just about the most beautiful in the region, just look around on the MRT during peak hours, especially around Zhongshan and Zhongxiao Dunhua stations - where the luxury department stores are. Taiwanese women are relatively tall (think of the tiny Filipina’s), more outgoing than Japanese, nicer than those rough Koreans. The only drawback here of course is that Asian is the only demographic.
